I have bet on millions of rounds of twenty-one. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have enjoyed online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the casino.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get loaded with this method or beat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years back with $750 after 60 mins using this tactic! And a couple of weeks ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the runs you see gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80
Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $80 bet
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
