I have played millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of money at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very fun sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a number of months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original $80 bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 1 hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
