Black Jack Lessons

Blackjack is possibly one of the more favoured games played in casinos. Black jack is also known as 21 or Chemin de Fer. The game is a combination of luck and ability combined with decision-making. The card game has evolved over a set amount of time. Players have specialized in certain skills like "card card counting," which allows them to shift the edge in the game in the players direction. The card game has been around since the 1700s. References can be found in historical documents to a card game referred to as "vingt-et-un," which in French means Twenty One, and is thought of as the precursor to black jack.

The card game was originally not so popular in the united states of america. This caused the gambling houses trying a number of features like offering a reward in case of a ten to one pay out, if the black jack player had an ace of spades and a black jack. The jack could be either clubs or spades. Once the game became well-known, the reward payout before long disappeared from the rules.

Any hand which reaches a sum of 21 is deemed a winner. The total should not exceed 21, if it does the hand is considered to be "bust." The aim of every player is to beat the casino. If the player and the croupier both have the same hand value, it is called "push," with neither the player or the casino coming away with a win on the hand.
